Ingredients for Vegetable biryani recipes

Method of preparation for Vegetable biryani recipes:

Grind the cloves and cinnamon coarsely. Heat the ghee or dalda in a large pan and fry ground cinnamon, cloves and cardamom pods. Also add cumin seeds and onions and fry. Add chilly powder and all the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes. Lower the heat and add rice to it. Fry till all the ghee or dalda is absorbed. Now add 2 cups of water and close the pan with a tight lid. Let it cook on high flame till it comes to boil. Now lower the flame and allow it to cook for some time till the rice and vegetables are done. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with curry, chutney or raita.
