Ingredients for Rajmah Recipes
- Red kidney beans: 1 cup
- Tomatoes: 2 (chopped)
- Onions: 2
- Green chilies: 3
- Garlic flakes: 2
- Ginger: 1 piece
- Curds: 2 tbsp (beaten)
- Cumin powder: 1 tsp
- Garam masala: 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder: ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp
- Oil: 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation for Rajmah Recipes:
Soak the red kidney beans for 2-3 hours , boil them till soft and mash them well. Keep aside.
Grind ginger, garlic, green chilies and onions to a paste. Heat oil in a pan and fry the ground paste till it turns golden. Add ½ cup water and cook the mixture till it becomes dry. Now add chopped tomatoes, spices and curds. Fry for 10 minutes and then add mashed kidney beans and 1-cup water. Cook for 5-10 minutes, remove from the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot with chapati or poori.
