Ingredients for Pav Bhaji Recipes
- Vegetable oil: ½ cup
- Chopped garlic: 2 tsp
- Green chilly peppers: 1 tsp (finely chopped)
- Chopped onions: 1 cup
- Grated fresh ginger: 2 tsp
- Tomatoes: 1 cup (chopped)
- Cauliflower: 2 cups (finely chopped)
- Chopped cabbage: 1 cup (chopped)
- Green peas: 1 cup
- Grated carrots: 1 cup
- Potatoes: 4 (boiled and mashed)
- Pav bhaji masala: 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
- Buns or pavs: 8 (halved)
- Butter
Method of preparation for Pav Bhaji Recipes:
Heat the oil in a wok, sauté garlic and green chilly for 30 seconds and stir in onions and ginger. Cook until tomatoes are brown and add tomatoes. Cook until it becomes paste. Add cauliflower, cabbage, carrot , peas and potatoes and allow it to cook for some time. Then season with pav bhaji masala and allow it to cook for 15 minutes by covering the lid. Stir occasionally. Finally add salt and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well.
Toast the buns and spread lightly with butter and garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
