Ingredients for Khichadi recipes
- Mung dal: 1 cup
- Rice: ½ cup
- Water: 3 cups
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric: ½ tsp
- Onion: 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Lime or lemon juice: 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Method of preparation for Khichadi recipes:
In a pressure cooker, add all the ingredients and put it on high heat. When the pressure is about to come slow down the heat and cook for 15 more minutes. Garnish with onion, lemon juice and coriander.
Serve hot with raita or plain curd.
