Ingredients for Fresh Garden Pickles Recipes
- Dill: 1 tbsp
- Salt: 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed: 1 tsp
- Garlic clove: 1
- Medium sized cucumbers: 3
- Vinegar: 1 cup
- Water: 2 cups
Method of preparation for Fresh Garden Pickles Recipes:
Wash the cucumbers and cut each one in a half, crosswise. Cut each half into four pieces lengthwise. Put cucumbers in a large bowl. Put salt and dill over them. Keep aside for 30 minutes. Put the cucumbers into 2 jars. Add peppercorns and ½ tsp mustard seed to each jar. Peel the garlic clove and cut into half. Squeeze half into each jar. Stir water and vinegar together and pour equal quantity into each jar. Screw the lids and shake well. Put the pickles in the refrigerator and serve the next day.
