Ingredients for Beet Salad Recipes
- Ground all spice: ½ tsp
- Vegetable oil: 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Cabbage: 3 cups (grated)
- Pepper to taste
- Red beets: 1-½ cups (shredded/grated)
- Medium onion: 1 (thinly sliced)
- Large apple: 1 (grated)
- Apple cider vinegar: ½ cup
- Brown sugar: 2 tbsp
Method of preparation for Beet Salad Recipes:
In a bowl, mix apple, vinegar, brown sugar and spices. Mix well. Heat the oil in a skillet or wok and stir fry onion and cabbage until they just start to get soft. Add the beets and apple vinegar mixture to the skillet and cook for about 1 minute. Cool in refrigerator and serve cool if desired. Otherwise serve hot.
