Ingredients for Cashew Rice
Rice â€“ 2 cups
Cashew nuts ( roasted and powdered ) – 3 tsp
Salt to taste
Grated coconut (dry) â€“ 2 tsp
Turmeric powder â€“ a pinch
Asafoetida â€“ a pinch
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp.
Red chillies â€“ 2
Oil – 2 tbsps.
Few coriander leaves
Preparation Method for Cashew Rice
First cook rice and keep aside.
After heating oil in the pan and add mustard seeds,asafoetida, and red chillies.
Now add cooked rice and the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Finally garnish with chopped coriander and serve with curd.
