Ingredients for Aloo Gobhi
The Following are the ingredients for Aloo Gabhi are:

  • Large cauliflower – 1
  • Potatoes – 2
  • Onion – 1
  • Green chilies – 1
  • Coriander – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Curd – 2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
  • Oil or Clarified butter – 3 tsp
  • For paste :

  • Grated coconut – 2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander – ¼ cup
  • Green chillies – 3
  • Grated ginger – ½ tsp
  • Onion – 1
  • Wheat flour – ½ tsp
  • Preparation Method for Aloo Gobhi are:
    The following is the preparation method for aloo gobhi are

  • First break cauliflower into florettes.
  • Boil the florettes in water for 3-4 minutes.
  • After boiling drain the water and keep aside.
  • Cut potatoes into medium- size cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
  • Now add chopped onions, green chillies and cook till it becomes pink.
  • Next add curd, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now add cauliflower florettes, potatoes and cook till the gravy thickens.
  • As soon as gravy thickens and oil separates, add lemon juice.
  • Finally garnish with coriander.
  • It is ready to be served.
