Pancakes are very easy to make, and they taste great as well. Pancakes make for an excellent breakfast.
Here are a few pancake recipes for you to enjoy.
Simple Pancake Recipe
Serves 8
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 ¼ cups milk
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Take a large bowl. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in it.
- Make a gap in the middle and pour the milk, egg and melted butter. Mix it all until smooth.
- Heat a griddle or a frying pan. Oil it lightly.
- Take one-fourth cup of the mixture each time and pour it on to the griddle or the frying pan.
- Brown each pancake on both sides. Serve hot.
Cheese and Apple Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 medium eggs, separated
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup apples, coarsely grated
- ¾ cup of flour
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped almonds
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- A little salt
Ingredients
- Take a big bowl. Mix all the ingredients except the eggs in it.
- Break the eggs and separate the whites from the yellows. Then add the whites to the mixture and mix again.
- Heat a little oil on a griddle or a frying pan.
- Take one-fourth cup of mixture each time and pour it on the griddle or frying pan.
- Brown each pancake on both sides. Serve hot.
Chocolate Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 4 medium sized eggs
- 2 oz melted chocolate
- 1 cup milk
- ¾ cup yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Cooking oil
Instructions
- Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, yoghurt and melted chocolate in a large bowl.
- Make a gap in the middle and pour the milk, eggs and chocolate syrup. Mix well.
- Allow the mixture to stand for 5 minutes.
- Heat a little oil on a griddle or a frying pan.
- Take one-fourth cup of mixture each time and pour it on the griddle or frying pan.
- Brown each pancake on both sides. Serve hot.
