Low Fat Smoothie Recipes

Smoothies are blend of fruits and vegetables in any liquid like milk, juice or yogurt. Smoothies can be prepared according to ones taste and desire. Smoothies are becoming very popular these days. Smoothies have high nutrition value which boost immune system and promote health. Different combination of fruits and vegetables can can be mixed together to prepare recipe according to one’s own taste.

Smoothie Recipes:

1. Strawberry Mango

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sliced fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup mango, cubed
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • Ice cube according to need
  • 1 tsp. honey ( optional)

Process: Place all ingredients in blender and blend them together. 12 ounce of smoothie will be prepared.

2. Lemon Strawberry

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole lemon peeled and deseeds
  • 4 fresh sliced strawberries
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 cup of water
  • Ice cubes according to need

Process: Place all ingredients in blender and blend them together. 12 ounce of smoothie will be prepared.

3. Strawberry Frost:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container plain yogurt
  • 6 frozen strawberry juices (concentrate)
  • Ice cubes

Process: In blender container add condensed milk, yogurt and strawberry juice. Blend them properly. Keep the blender running and add ice cubes. Blend mixture until it becomes smooth. 4 serving can be made from this mixture.

4. Double Strawberry

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup straw berry milk
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • ¾ cup milk
  • Whipped toppings

Process: Except topping blend together all ingredients in blender. Blend them well until they become smooth. Make 2 servings in large glasses. While serving, decorate smoothie with toppings.

5. Strawberry Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup chocolate frozen yogurt
  • ¾ cup strawberry yogurt
  • ½ cup sliced frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Process: Place all ingredients in blender and blend them together. Blend them until it becomes smooth. You can make 1 large serving of smoothie.
