Low Fat Bread Recipes

Every one loves delicious food any if it has low calorie also then it becomes more tempting. Here are few bread recipes which have less or no calories in them:

Bread Recipe: 1
Simple Vegan Banana Bread:

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tea spoon vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • ½ tea spoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    Process: Preheat the oven at 360deg and grease a loaf pan for baking. Now, mash bananas in a large bowl. Add sugar, vanilla and water to it and mix them well. In other medium size bowl, mix flour baking powder and salt together. Now pour flour mixture in banana and mix them well. You can also add walnuts, choco chips anything you like in the paste prepared. Now pour this batter in a prepared loaf pan. Bake it for 55-60 minutes until the inserted toothpick comes out clearly.

    Healthy Pumpkin Carrot Raisins Muffins

    • 11/4 cups whole wheat flour
    • 2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    • ½ cup rolled oat
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 2teaspoon baking powder
    • 1 cup pumpkin
    • ¾ cup whole milk
    • 1teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 11/2 cup grated carrot
    • ½ cup raisins

    Process: First mix spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in one bowl. In another bowl mix pumpkin, egg, milk and vanilla extract. Combine the two extracts and add in carrots and raisins to it. Now bake this batter for at least 35 minutes until top gets firm.

    Tropical Banana Bread

    • 2 cups all purpose flour
    • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
    • 11/4 teaspoon baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 2 ripe mashed banana
    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • ½ cup refrigerated liquid egg substitute
    • 1/3 cup low fat milk
    • 8ounce crushed pineapple
    • ½ cup coconut extract
    • Toasted coconut
    • Sliced fresh fruit

    Process: First preheat oven at 350deg. And coat a loaf pan with cooking spray. Combine salt, baking powder, soda and cinnamon and reserve it. Now beat banana, sugar and egg together at medium-high speed. And on medium-low speed beat reserve mixture with1/3 cup milk until they combine. Now add pineapple to it. Transfer it to pan and bake for 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool it for 10 minutes and garnish with fruit and coconut
